The Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested sixteen individuals suspected of involvement in internet-related offenses. The arrests were made at the Fifth Chukker Polo Club in Marabban Jos, Kaduna state. The suspects, consisting of 13 males and three females, were apprehended based on actionable intelligence.
The individuals arrested are Bello Abiodun, Abraham Adama, Shedrack Bisola, Friday Markus, Ransom Joash Destiny, Joshua Winner, Samuel Shehu, John Daniel, Christian Righteous, Godwin Dikko, Ogochukwu Ijeh, Bilbert Sabo, Akosa Joshua, Precious Yohanna, Joy Righteous, and Samuel Ruth.
Mobile phones and laptops were recovered from the suspects. The EFCC stated that the individuals would be charged to court once investigations are concluded.
