In a development on Wednesday, a Federal High Court in Abuja directed the remand of former Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, in Kuje Correctional Service. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought charges against Agunloye, accusing him of involvement in fraudulent activities related to the Mambilla Power Project.
Upon his appearance before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Agunloye entered a plea of not guilty to the charges leveled against him. Subsequently, the judge ordered the remand of the former minister in Kuje Correctional Service until a decision is made regarding his bail application.
