Last week, South African tycoon Johann Rupert briefly held the top spot. As of January 8, Dangote’s net worth increased by $10 million to $10.1 billion, while Rupert’s net worth decreased from $10.7 billion to $10 billion since January 30, 2023.
Dangote, the founder and head of the Dangote Group, is now ranked 191st on the Forbes list of global billionaires, while Rupert is ranked 197th worldwide. The rankings reflect the dynamic nature of individual net worth, influenced by various factors such as changes in the value of investments, market conditions, and business performances.
