Mr. Fatai Adams, the Chairman of the Ondo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has passed away. Although the details surrounding his death remain undisclosed, it is reported that he died in the early hours of Wednesday.
The party’s state Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kennedy Peretei, confirmed the incident, expressing the PDP’s intention to issue an official communication to the media soon. Peretei stated, “Yes, it is true, but we will soon communicate with you properly on the incident.”
It is noteworthy that the State Working Committee of the PDP in Ondo State had announced the suspension of Adams last month, citing his alleged involvement in anti-party activities. The circumstances surrounding his death and the impact on the party will likely be clarified in the forthcoming official statement.
