President Bola Tinubu delivered a message of hope and determination to Nigerians during Eid-el-Fitr prayers at the Dodan Barracks in Lagos. He emphasized the importance of hope in supporting his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that without it, progress would be impeded.
Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, highlighted his commitment to implementing the Renewed Hope Agenda for the betterment of Nigerians. He urged citizens to maintain patriotism and extend the values of sacrifice and resilience beyond Ramadan.
Encouraging love for Nigeria, Tinubu emphasized the need to protect the country’s integrity and prioritize its development. He underscored the significance of hope in fostering progress and urged Nigerians to cherish and preserve it.
During the prayers led by Chief Imam Sheikh Sulaiman Abou-Nolla, Tinubu reiterated the importance of peace and coexistence, urging leaders to fulfill their obligations and alleviate the suffering of the less privileged. He also extended prayers for peace and stability in Nigeria, including solidarity with those affected by conflicts, such as in Gaza.
In his sermon, Sheikh Abou-Nolla echoed the call for peace and faithfulness among Nigerians, urging leaders to uphold their responsibilities and support the vulnerable. He concluded with prayers for guidance, wisdom, and protection for President Tinubu, the Lagos State government, and the nation as a whole.
