The Nigerian Police have captured the ringleader of a “one chance” robbery gang in Abuja, who brutally assaulted a pregnant woman, resulting in the tragic loss of her pregnancy. Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, shared this update on his social media account on Sunday.
Adejobi’s post detailed the appalling act committed by the suspect, stating, “This is a ringleader of a one chance robbery gang in Abuja. He used a wheel spanner to assault a pregnant woman (a victim of one chance) to the extent that she suffered a miscarriage. The woman had been longing for a child for over eight years.”
Expressing outrage at the cruelty of the act, Adejobi continued, “This is wickedness.” He further revealed that the suspect is currently undergoing trial in court and has been arrested again for the same offense, indicating a pattern of criminal behavior.
