The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has officially declared former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello wanted for alleged economic and financial crimes. The announcement was made through a notice posted on the EFCC’s official Facebook page on Thursday.
According to the notice, Bello is wanted by the EFCC for offenses amounting to N80.2 billion. The commission urged anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to report immediately to the EFCC or the nearest police station.
The EFCC’s declaration comes amid ongoing investigations into allegations of fraud involving Bello, with the commission set to arraign him on Thursday for the alleged N80.2 billion fraud.
