The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is gearing up to present former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, along with his daughter, Fatimah, and two other individuals in court this Thursday. The quartet faces charges related to an alleged N2.7 billion contract fraud that was unearthed within the Aviation Ministry during Sirika’s tenure.
This marks the first time the embattled former Minister will stand trial, scheduled to appear before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja. Alongside Sirika, his daughter Fatima, Jalal Hamma, and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd will also be in attendance, accused of exploiting their positions to facilitate the laundering of over N2.7 billion.
