Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a prominent Nigerian e-commerce company, tragically took his own life at his residence in Lagos. The incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, when Imudia reportedly jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki.
Before his death, Imudia made calls to his brother in the United States, instructing him on how to manage his estate, and spoke with his young daughter, reassuring her of his presence in her life.
The news has left Imudia’s friends, family, and associates in shock, with many struggling to understand the circumstances that led to his decision.
Imudia, originally from the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, had a career trajectory that included leadership in both engineering and e-commerce sectors. He was previously married and had a daughter from that union, which ended in separation due to irreconcilable differences.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, stating, “Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25.”
The community mourns the loss of a prominent figure, reflecting on his contributions and the impact of his untimely death.
