Popular crossdresser Okuneye Idris, known as Bobrisky, is currently in custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos, after being arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). Bobrisky was apprehended while attempting to leave the country via the Seme border and was detained at the FCID on Monday night.
A source revealed that Bobrisky was taken to the FCID for safekeeping and is now awaiting further directives. Confirming the incident, FCID spokesperson Mayegun Aminat stated that Bobrisky is being held in their custody as they seek a remand order to keep him detained.
The NIS spokesperson, Kenneth Udo, explained that Bobrisky was intercepted at the border due to ongoing issues of public concern and is currently undergoing interrogation.
