The appointments, announced on Monday evening, followed a rigorous selection process conducted by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, shared the news in an official statement.
The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:
- Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)
- Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)
- Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)
- Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)
- Kalba Usman (Gombe State)
- Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)
- Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)
- Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)
This marks the second wave of permanent secretary appointments under Tinubu’s administration, following an earlier batch announced in June, which featured representatives from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, and other states.
President Tinubu called on the newly appointed officials to demonstrate unwavering commitment, diligence, and innovative approaches in their service to the nation.
