In a gesture to ease transportation costs during the festive season, Dangote Refinery has announced a price reduction for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to N899.50 per litre. This marks a further decrease from the N970 per litre price set on November 24.
The announcement was made on Thursday by Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, who highlighted the refinery’s commitment to alleviating the financial burden on Nigerians during the holidays.
As part of a special purchase offer, consumers can also access one additional litre of fuel on credit for every litre purchased in cash, provided they secure a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.
“To make transportation more affordable this holiday season, Dangote Refinery is offering PMS at N899.50 per litre at our truck loading gantry or SPM,” Chiejina stated. “Additionally, customers can buy an extra litre on credit, backed by a valid bank guarantee.”
The refinery expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their continued support and reaffirmed its mission to supply high-quality, environmentally friendly petroleum products at competitive prices.
Chiejina emphasized that the Dangote Refinery is committed to ending Nigeria’s reliance on substandard and blended imported petroleum products, which have negatively impacted health, machinery, and the environment over the years.
This initiative underscores the company’s role in supporting Nigerians during the yuletide while promoting sustainable energy practices.
