The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State on the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari noted that the place of father in the lives of his children cannot be under-rated especially at this crucial period when the Governor needed the support and prayers of his father most, for divine guidance in office.
The Emir stated this in a statement issued on Tuesday by his spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressing that Alhaji Ododo’s death is a sorrowful experience and monumental loss to the entire people of Kogi State and humanity in general.
He also urged Governor Ododo and his siblings to find solace in the fact that their late father lived a good life and left behind legacies of integrity, honesty, and dedication to the service of Almighty Allah.
While extending the condolences of the entire members of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council to the Government and people of Kogi State over the unfortunate incidence, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari prayed that Allah accept his good deeds, forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Al-janatul firdaos.
