President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Wednesday for a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, as part of his annual leave. This was disclosed in a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
Titled ‘President Tinubu Goes on Annual Leave,’ the statement revealed that the President will use the two weeks as both a working vacation and a personal retreat to reflect on his administration’s ongoing economic reforms.
“He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement added.
According to sources close to the President, this two-week break forms part of his yearly leave schedule. Tinubu’s departure comes just two weeks after his recent return from London, where he met with King Charles III.
This trip marks the 27th foreign destination Tinubu has visited since assuming office 16 months ago, and his fourth visit to the United Kingdom.
