Chukwiemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (C.O.OU..), Anambra State,
has invited candidates who made the University their First Choice Institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 150 for other Courses for screening exercise.
The Registrar, Chris U. Obi (MNIM, FIPMA, KSC) stated this in press release made available to The Daily Monitor.
Formerly Anambra State University, the institution said candidates for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology and Pharmaceutical Sciences should have a minimum score of 200 to qualify for Post UTME application.
“Candidates who did not choose COOU as their first-choice University but, scored the eligible pass marks can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CBT Centres for a change of institution,” they explained.
Speaking about online registration, they said eligible candidates (only candidates that are at least 16 years old by September 30th, 2025) are required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand naira (N2,000.00) only, through the REMITA platform at any Commercial Bank.
Furthermore, they said, “The online registration commences on Monday, 11th August, 2025 and ends on Tuesday, 18th September, 2025.”
Post-UTME Registration Process:
They outlined the methods for registration by asking candidates to:
“i. Click on portal.coou.edu.ng. Click Prospective Students ii. Select ‘Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice’
iv. Enter JAMB Registration Number
v. Click on ‘Sign in’ to generate invoice.
vi. Proceed to any bank for payment or pay using your ATM Card. vii. Return to portal
viii. Re-enter JAMB Registration Number, Click on ‘Apply Here’
ix. Complete Date of Birth and all other blank fields.
X. Upload your O’level Result(s) to JAMB CAPS, using CBT centres not ordinary business centres.
“xi. Upload the following (Ensure that their sizes are not above 50kb):
Jamb Result Slip
– O’level 1
– O’level 2 (for those with two Certificates)
“xii. Review Summary Page and check that all details entered are correct.
xiii. Check the confirmation box below.
xiv. Click submit.
xv. Print Acknowledgement Slip
D. Direct Entry Candidates for 2025/2026 who made Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University their first choice institution should also register for the screening using the drop down on the prospective student panel (2025/2026 direct entry application) Candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level in relevant disciplines and subjects.
