Premier League side Fulham are in negotiations with AC Milan for the signing of Nigerian forward Samuel Chukwueze, with the Italian club setting an asking price of €25 million, Bold Sports reports.
According to reports from Italy, transfer expert Matteo Moretto revealed that Milan want the fee structured in both fixed and performance-related components.
Talks are ongoing as Fulham push to reach an agreement before the close of the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal in 2023 with high expectations, but has struggled to hit top form in Italy. In two seasons, the Super Eagles winger has managed eight goals in 69 appearances across all competitions, with just four strikes in 51 Serie A games.
Milan, despite battling attacking depth issues, have deemed the Nigerian surplus to requirements and are open to letting him leave for the right price.
A move to Fulham would see Chukwueze join a growing list of Nigerian internationals in the Premier League especially Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage, where his pace and direct play could add a new dimension to Marco Silva’s attack.
