In a strategic move aimed at achieving the corporate goals set by the Corps for the year 2024, Federal Road Safety Corps’ Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, has given the green light for the reshuffling of key personnel. This initiative is designed to enhance the Corps’ ongoing efforts in creating a safer motoring environment.
As part of this redeployment, two Deputy Corps Marshals and one Assistant Corps Marshal are set to take on new responsibilities in various Departments and Corps offices. Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM) Shehu Alkali Zaki, formerly in charge of the Training Department, will now oversee the affairs of the Department of Operations. Simultaneously, Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, the former Corps Public Education Officer, will assume the role of DCM in charge of the Training Department at the National Headquarters in Abuja.
Furthermore, Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, the former head of Command Administration and Strategies (CAS), will now be at the helm of the Corps Public Education Office, a position previously held by Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem.
Highlighting the significance of these changes, the Corps Marshal emphasized his confidence in the capabilities and experiences of the newly redeployed senior officers. He charged them to leverage their professional expertise for impactful leadership in their respective roles. The effective date for these redeployments is set for January 15, 2024, coinciding with the conclusion of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol. This information was conveyed in a statement signed by the Corps Commander, Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, Charles Edem.
